Recruitment Schedule

• Orientation Night --- Thursday, August 29th at 5:30 p.m.

  This night is used to get you in the right mindset for recruitment! This will be your first glimpse into the Primary Recruitment process and where you’ll receive all the information for the upcoming weeks and start learning about what sorority life is all about! Then you will get to meet your Rho Gamma group who you will spend a lot of time with over the next two weeks!

• Spirit Day --- Saturday, August 31 at 9:00 a.m. Marshall Student Center

  Spirit Day is the first official day of recruitment and you will get to learn about all 10 chapters we have at USF.  These events seem fast-paced as they are about 20 minutes long, but don’t let that overwhelm you! The women in all 10 chapters are so excited to meet you all. Today you should wear what you feel comfortable in, such as jeans or other casual bottoms.

• Philanthropy Day --- Sunday, September 1 at 9:00 a.m. Marshall Student Center

  On Philanthropy Day, you will have the opportunity to visit up to 8 chapters which will each include 35 minute sessions. The events on this day may be a little more intimate as members share stories about how their philanthropy has personally impacted their lives and the service they participate in. Dress nice, but still casual, something you would wear to a nice brunch.

• Sisterhood Day --- Monday, September 2 at 9:00 a.m. (Labor Day, No Classes) Marshall Student Center

  On Sisterhood Day, you will have the opportunity to visit up to 5 chapters for 45 minutes.  This day is focused on each chapter’s bond and sisterhood they share.  The day is a little fancier than Philanthropy Day, so we recommend wearing something you might wear to a nice dinner or celebration party.

  There is a break between Sisterhood Day and Preference Day

• Preference Day --- Saturday, September 7 at 9:00 a.m. Marshall Student Center

  Preference Day you will have the opportunity to visit up to 2 chapters, each with a duration of 60 minutes.  These events are much longer and more serious as the chapters will share part of their ritual with you.  This is the fanciest day of recruitment.  At the end of the day during ranking you will sign the MRABA. We suggest wearing appropriate cocktail attire for the day.

• Bid Day --- Sunday, September 8 at 12:00 p.m. Marshall Student Center

  Bid Day is the day where you have the opportunity to receive a bid to join one of the organizations we have at USF. You will begin the day by spending more time with your Rho Gammas and the other women in your group. After all chapters have gathered their new members, you will be asked to join with your new sorority and take part in their Bid Day celebration!
