PHILANTHROPY
Delta Gamma prides itself on our motto “Do Good” through our service to our Foundation, The Delta Gamma Foundation which supports Service for Sight. We host our annual Anchor Splash event each fall where USF organizations join teams to participate in a synchronized swimming, and cheer routine in the pool. We also have an annual spring event, Sailor for Sight, where each organization can pick a representative to co-represent Delta Gamma. These events raise awareness and funds toward Service for Sight, which was founded and is funded by Delta Gamma nationally. We are so proud to use this money to give grants to the five Delta Gamma schools that work with children who suffer from vision loss. In addition to Service for Sight we also donate to the local organization, Southeastern Guide Dogs, which aids in the raising of seeing-eye dogs. We were recently blessed with being able to name a service dog through our money raised. His name is Sailor! We could not be prouder to dedicate our time and service, as well as host events such as Anchor Splash and Sailor for Sight, toward such a compelling cause.
