What is USF Panhellenic?
The Panhellenic Council (PHA) is the governing body for the 10 National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities at USF. We provide leadership, support, and resources for our chapters, ensuring that all sorority women have an enriching and fulfilling experience. Panhellenic oversees recruitment, chapter collaboration, and community-wide initiatives, while also promoting values like scholarship, leadership, service, and sisterhood.
Our role is to create a strong, inclusive, and empowering community where all women feel welcome and supported. We strive to uphold the traditions of Greek Life while also fostering personal and professional growth for our members.
Our Mission
The Panhellenic Association at the University of South Florida will aim to create authentic leaders who serve, inspire, and initiate global change.
Our Vision
A Panhellenic member at the University of South Florida inspire and motivate individuals who too initiates positive change for a global community.
What We Do?
The Panhellenic community is a space where women come together to uplift, inspire, and support one another. Throughout the year, we host a variety of events and programs that enhance the sorority experience, including:
Fall Formal Recruitment: A structured process that allows Potential New Members (PNMs) to meet all 10 sororities and find the chapter that feels like home.
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) Recruitment: A more casual and flexible recruitment process where participating chapters host individual events for Potential New Members to explore membership opportunities.
Philanthropy & Service: Every chapter has a national philanthropy they support, and as a Panhellenic community, we come together to raise money and volunteer for important causes.
Leadership & Professional Development: From executive board roles to networking events, Panhellenic provides countless opportunities for members to grow as leaders.
Sisterhood & Social Events: From retreats, formals, and mixers to casual hangouts and campus traditions, Panhellenic is all about building lifelong friendships.
Academic Support: Academics are a top priority in Panhellenic. Chapters provide study hours, tutoring resources, academic incentives, and mentorship to help members succeed. Many sororities also have scholarships and awards available to recognize academic achievement.

By unifying, supporting, and devoting in one another, our members embody the meaning of being a sorority woman. Not only do we empower one another, we simultaneously contribute to global empowerment through our dedication to USF, the community, and Circle of Sisterhood.

Service is a commitment to put others before yourself. Through service, we build unshakable character, impact the lives of others, and contribute to worldwide development. In our Panhellenic community, service assists important societal needs through hands-on activities and building of awareness.
Respect
Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something, which is the foundation for our interactions with ourselves and others. By practicing and promoting self and mutual respect, we are able to build stronger, authentic bonds. Respect is a mindset and a demeanor our members should embody. As we demonstrate respect, we create safe spaces and grow into a more inclusive environment.
