EPSILON LAMBDA CHAPTER
Alpha Delta Pi
Chapter Information:
-
Alpha Delta Pi is proud to be the first secret society exclusively for women. Founded on May 15, 1851, at Wesleyan Female College in Macon, Georgia, our sorority is rich with tradition and sisterhood. Alpha Delta Pi sisters strive for excellence in philanthropy, academic performance, and campus leadership. In keeping with our motto, We Live for Each Other, our members have found a place for support, shared values, and personal development. Our values include sisterhood, service, character, and knowledge. Opportunities abound for the sisters of Alpha Delta Pi, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
-
From the time of our founding, Alpha Delta Pi has believed in the importance of giving back to our community. Our international organization’s commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities has led to the donation of over $15,000,000 throughout our partnership. More than 350 Ronald McDonald Houses in 64 countries help keep families with seriously ill or injured children together when they need it most by offering them a comfortable, temporary residence in proximity to a medical facility. Our Fall Philanthropy Week includes several exciting events. Some events that take place throughout the week are Give Back Nights, where 20% of proceeds from each order gets donated to the Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay. We host a 2k in a Day event, ADPi Market, and finally the week concludes with the Cheer Toss and Tumble event, a cheer competition with teams performing cheer routines.
-
Alpha Delta Pi accepts legacies! A legacy is sister, daughter, granddaughter, or great-granddaughter of an initiated member of Alpha Delta Pi. Legacy designation is inclusive of step-relatives and blended families. However, legacies are required to go through the same recruitment process as all other potential members. They are welcome to visit our website, complete the interest form, and indicate their legacy status. All submitted interest forms will be reviewed before the recruitment process.
